What are the University Taster Summer Schools?
Our University Taster Summer Schools consist of academically engaging programmes aimed at students who wish to experience first-year undergraduate courses in the UK.
This Summer School is available in two formats - 14 days or 17 days. Both options include two weeks in Cambridge, with the 17-day programme offering extended educational visits to other parts of the UK prior to the initial 14-day period. In 2025, the University Taster Summer Schools will take place during August.
Participants can choose from a range of six different academic courses, which are all taught by Cambridge academics and PhD researchers.
Psychology: Explore the scientific study of mind and behaviour, covering fundamental psychological topics including mental health, the nature vs nurture debate, and experimental design.
